"ANNUAL SHOWCASE RECITAL POLICIES and PROCEDURES:
We encourage ALL students, Parents and Teachers to wear your mask backstage & in the audience if you are showing cold and cough symptoms.
STUDENTS and TEACHERS...
Please read the Showcase Recital Handbook.
1. Please do not enter the studio if you are ill or have a fever.
2. Must not have been knowingly in contact with anyone who has a contagious virus.
3. If a student is injured, Please come into the studio to watch the class rehearsal first hand.
4. Parents of students are encouraged to enter the studio and view classes from the glass windows and doors. You may also take a folding chair and view through the windows on the sidewalk.
5. Parents: Please place student's name on every piece of their clothing, shoes and costumes.
6. Arrive fully dressed and ready for class, rehearsals and performance when possible ...wearing street shoes.
7. Sanitize hands and prepare for class. (We ask parents of the younger set to please have the young students visit the bathroom prior to class)
8. Sit on the chair/s outside of Studio A and B and any performance area to change into dance shoes. Place streets shoes and hang street clothes in the dancers storage area.
9. Bring any change of clean dance shoes into the studio with your water bottle. (Do not bring Dance Bags into studio - hang them up neatly on the dancer's hooks in the rear of the studio)
10. We suggest that you bring a large clean beach towel to use in the Backstage Area of the Pioneer Theater (if you are not seated on the allocated blankets). Organization is essential for preparing your Costume change area.
11. After class or performance, leave studio/ venue with all items. Change back into street shoes asap.
12. Continue to use Hand sanitizers, try not to touch the face and eyes. Always wash hands after using the bathrooms.
These steps will keep everybody happy, healthy, and dancing!
Look forward to a great Performance Season!
